Eerie George Michael Synch in the new movie 'La La Land'

I saw the movie
'La La Land' last night at the cinema and there is a scene (see the You Tube above) where Ryan Gosling is playing with an 80s Retro band and as he is leaving the gig dressed as himself Emma Stone yells out, "George Michael" to Ryan as he walks away and you could hear the cinema audience gasp at the timing of this scene to real life events.

The thing is this film is really big on meaningful coincidences ... or synchronistic events in the two main character's lives.
Great film I think and must be the front runner for
'Best Picture' come Oscar night.

Black Box-ing Day: Paint It Black?
George Michael, Christmas, Seals and Car/Pool Karaoke
Maybe the seal just wanted to do
 some
Carpool Karaoke?-)
I saw the movie the movie 'Sing' and there is a scene where the sheep gets woken up by his phone to the Wham! song 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go'.

UPDATE: December 29th (Australian time), 2016
Another eerie postcard from the edge of 2016 -

  1. A day after her daughter dies. Also, Richard Adams (Watership Down), passed away.

  2. I've already written a post on the passing of Richard Adams and have just watched the interesting, but also confusing and somewhat boring animated movie version of his book 'Watership Down'.
They need to re-boot this movie into something more watchable, as I'm sure there is a baby in the water somewhere in this story, but after watching this movie and barely making it through awake, I can't imagine dropping all of the books on my "to read" list and picking this one up to read to see what Richard was trying to convey.
I may do a post about what I liked about the movie in a future post when I get some screen shots.
