Strange Days Indeed

Easter eggs?!
I finally saw the new Marvel movie 'Doctor Strange' last week after waiting since Valentine's Day in 2015 when I wrote this post about learning about Benedict Cumberbatch playing Steven Strange, which was bloody strange considering I wrote about singer Steve Strange passing away that week in the same post -
Strange Coincidences Around Black Friday/Valentine's Day?
I loved 'Doctor Strange', by the way and found this blogpost the other day -
Lessons On Time Loops And Power Loops From 'Doctor Strange'
that brought up a symbol of the ancient and modern world and a scene that really caught my attention, too,"In 1949, the brilliant Austrian mathematician Kurt GΓΆdel found a solution of Albert Einstein's equations of general relativity where it is possible, at least theoretically, to travel in a circle in time as we can in space, returning back to the starting point.
The movie brilliantly plays with this notion, not least since 13.7's own Adam Frank worked as a scientific consultant.
When Dr. Strange discovers that he has this power, we see a disturbingly beautiful image of an apple being eaten and reassembled again and again, a small patch of space where a closed-time loop is possible."
Strange how the apple, which many of us who grew up in the west would take as a symbol of the forbidden fruit ... or forbidden knowledge, is such a part of modern pop culture.
I remember how The Beatles put an infinite loop (if the stylus didn't retract) at the end of their 'Sgt. Pepper's' album and then I also thought it ironic that Doctor Strange probably crashes while texting on an APPLE cell phone, as is hinted at in the loop post above, "Tragedy has reshaped Strange's life after a horrific car accident crushed his hands, setting him off on a journey of healing and self-searching. (The subtext here is "Don't text and drive.")"
On the subject of doctors and records spinning around in an infinite loop, Pete Burns the lead singer of 'Dead or Alive' who had the smash hit, 'You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)' and 'My Heart Goes Bang (Get Me to a Doctor)' died of a heart-attack in the same month 'Doctor Strange' came out.

Eye patch?!
Strange!
Eye patch?!
Strange days indeed.
