Playing God by Using The (Tasmanian) Devil?!

I personally don't believe in the Devil, but at the same time I don't believe in man playing God when it comes to so called "extinct" species like the Tasmanian Tiger, and reading the above news story where it mentions scientists plans to use Tasmanian Devils as hosts for the Tasmanian Tiger's genes just sounds a rather ominous warning to me not to play the Devil's advocate when it comes to messing around with nature.
I think Willem Dafoe's character in the movie 'The Hunter' makes the right choice at the end of the film, which poses a similar "to be, or not to be" question when it comes to biotechnology and nature
Ironically, these guys pictured above claim to have seen a live Tassie Tiger on Good Friday (of all days) in 2015.

Haven't films like Jurassic Park taught us anything about the dangers of birthing things into our world that don't belong here anymore?
And surely Jeff Goldblum is the poster boy telling us all of the dangers of messing with nature and just what kind of s#it we can find ourselves in;-)
Oh, and by the way, the new Jurassic Park movie titled 'Jurrassic World: Fallen Kingdom' comes out in the same month next year that marks the 50th anniversary of 'Rosemary's Baby'.
Coincidence, or just one of those quirks of nature?-)
Maybe an alternate title for 'Rosemary's Baby' could have been 'Guy-ahhh's Baby'?
Get it?
Gaia's baby/Guy's Baby?
Time flys when you are having a Devil of a time, doesn't it?-)
And on the subject of 'Jurrassic World: Fallen Kingdom' coming out the same month 'Rosemary's Baby' turns 50, I saw the above stories in the paper a day or two after the Tassie Tiger story, which tells of the 'Rosemary's Baby' director Polanski being up on new sexual assault charges and a story about dinosaur ticks right next to the Polanski story.
Oh ... and yeah this.
